Cannabis-Enhanced Guided Meditation

Discover a rest deeper than sleep.

A Cannabis Yoga Nidra

There is a kind of rest that sleep can't quite reach.

A place beneath the thinking mind.

A place where the body can soften, the nervous system can settle, and you can remember what it feels like to simply be.

Join us for a Cannabis Yoga Nidra in a private temple in Chicagoβ€”an afternoon of conscious cannabis, deep rest, guided awareness, and spacious exploration of your inner landscape.

Saturday, September 26
1 - 4PM
Humboldt Park, Chicago

$77

Experience needed: You must have previous experience using cannabis. No meditation or yoga experience is required.

Everyone is welcome. This is a queer-friendly, neuro-spicy friendly & immigrant-friendly space. You must be 21+ years old.

Yoga Nidra is often translated as conscious sleep.

But it isn't quite sleep.

It is the practice of remaining gently aware as the body becomes deeply relaxed and the mind begins to quiet.

You lie down. You listen. You notice.

And little by little, you move through the layers of your experienceβ€”the physical body, the breath, sensation, emotion, thought, memory, imaginationβ€”until there is less and less to hold onto.

The practice may include a body scan, breathwork, guided imagery, awareness practices, and long periods of spacious stillness.

There is nowhere to get to.

Nothing to accomplish.

You are simply invited to become intimate with what is already here.

Over time, practitioners often describe Yoga Nidra as profoundly restorative: a deeper sense of ease, greater connection with the body, and a quiet feeling of coming home to themselves.

This ceremony offers you the time and container to explore that territory slowly.

Cannabis as a Sacrament

Cannabis has been used as a sacred plant for thousands of years.

Across traditions and cultures, people have turned toward it as a way of changing their relationship to attention, sensation, consciousness, and the present moment.

The intention here is not to escape yourself.

It is the opposite.

To become more available to yourself.

Used consciously, cannabis can soften the edges of habitual thinking and bring more attention into the body. Sensation can become more vivid. The breath can become easier to notice. The constant commentary of the mind may become quieter.

That shift can create a different doorway into Yoga Nidra.

A doorway into listening.

Into feeling.

Into the strange and beautiful territory that opens when you stop asking the mind to lead.

We approach cannabis not as something to consume casually, but as a plant ally within a deliberate contemplative practice.
